This page describes, in plain language, how ondcyber.com actually uses cookies. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

The public website

Browsing this site as a visitor — the homepage, services, insights, about, and contact pages — sets no cookies at all. Our analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) is cookie-less by design: it reports aggregate traffic patterns without placing any identifier in your browser.

The admin area

The private /admin area, used only by authorised O&D Cyber staff to manage published content, sets two strictly necessary cookies once someone signs in:

  • A session cookie that keeps an authenticated admin signed in for up to 12 hours.
  • A short-lived (10 minute) cookie used only during the login process itself, while a one-time code is being verified.

Both are HttpOnly (inaccessible to page scripts), used solely for authentication, and are never set unless someone actively goes through the admin login flow. They are not used for tracking or analytics, and are not shared with any third party.

Why there's no cookie banner

Because the public site sets no cookies and uses cookie-less analytics, there is nothing non-essential to ask your consent for. The only cookies this site ever sets are strictly necessary and limited to staff signing in to manage content.
